Step-by-step guide to connect your Hostaway account with GuestReply

How to authenticate the integration

We'll show you how to connect your Hostaway account with GuestReply using the Hostaway API.

Step 1: Access Hostaway API in Settings

Open your Hostaway account and navigate to the Hostaway API page directly. You'll see your existing API keys and an option to create a new one.

Step 2: Create an API Key

Click on the Create button in the top-right corner to generate a new API key. In the popup window, enter a name for your API key (e.g., "GuestReply") and select "Hostaway Public API" from the partner dropdown menu.

Step 3: Copy Your Account ID and API Key

After clicking the Create button, you'll see a success message with your Account ID and API Key. Make sure to copy both values (you can use the copy buttons next to each field) as you'll need them to connect to GuestReply. Note that the API key will only be shown once.

Step 4: Connect Hostaway to GuestReply

Now, switch over to the GuestReply app. After registering a new account, you'll see a screen to select your PMS. Click on the Hostaway option from the list of available integrations, and then click on Link Account.

Step 5: Enter Account ID and API Key

You'll be taken to a connection screen where you need to enter your Hostaway credentials. Paste the Account ID and API Key you copied in Step 3 into their respective fields, and then click the Connect button to link your account.

Integration Complete! Once you click Connect, GuestReply will start to automatically import and sync your listings and conversations from your Hostaway account.
